- The England women’s rugby team playing in the World Cup in China wears a uniform supplied by Umbro. Canterbury of New Zealand supplies the team with its base layer garments.

- Comform’able is not owned by Amer Sports. This brand of “fit solutions” (insoles, inner boots, socks etc.) is owned by Sidas, a French company that went through a management buyout in 2003. Sidas has licensed its Comform’able technology for more than four years to Atomic and to Salomon. Atomic uses it for some alpine and cross-country ski boots, and Salomon for some snowboard boots. It does not have any such deals with other ski brands, but consumers buy its insoles to put them into boots by other brands. Salomon helps Comform’able in the after-market as a distributor in Germany, Switzerland, Norway and Japan. It was previously doing so in the USA, Italy and the UK as well, but now Sidas has an agent in the UK and distributes its products through Wintersteiger in Italy and through the Soze Group in North America.
