The European Fishing Tackle Trade Association is taking action against companies that illegally copy products in collaboration with the trade show organizer China Fish. Companies that make fake products will be revealed on China Fish’s website, and those that are not established will have a harder time exhibiting at any of China Fish’s shows. Jean-Claude Bel, the chief executive of EFFTA, said that 95 percent of copied products in the fishing industry are manufactured in China.
