The European Outdoor Conservation Association (EOCA) proudly announced that it had reached the milestone of raising €1 million. Members and supporters of the non-profit organization have been collecting this amount since 2006, when EOCA came into existence. In addition, EOCA is pleased with the results of the public vote that was organized with several consumer magazines on various environmental projects. Altogether, the initiative reached more than 4 million consumers through print or online media, and through social networks. No fewer than 55,263 readers or users took part in the vote to pick conservation projects requiring financial support from EOCA.
