The Fastening Products division of YKK – a network of 108 companies in 72 countries – has established a partnership with Browzwear, which produces a software suite for 3D apparel design and display. Parts of YKK's catalog of zippers, hook-and-loop fasteners, webbing tapes, snaps and buttons will be available for on-screen manipulation as of the software update in January, with the rest being integrated over time. Founded in 1999, Browzwear is headquartered in Singapore, does its R&D in Israel and maintains offices for customer service in Europe and the U.S. Its user base includes Columbia Sportswear, PVH and VF.
