The first vintage collection offered by Quiksilver has sold out in Europe, the Middle East and Africa in 24 hours. The collection comprised 150 one-of-a-kind items that the brand's in-house design team selected by hand from thrift stores, collectors worldwide and Quiksilver's own 50-year archive. Among the items were the 7.67 Tee, the Line Boardshort, the Little Mysto Jacket, Skulldrag Boardshorts and the Mercury Fleece. Each item was certified authentic, and prices ranged from €20 to €125. The collection went on sale online and at one retail outlet, a Boardriders store, and the only marketing was through Instagram. A few items remain available in the U.S. online and at the Boardriders store in Malibu, California. Quiksilver plans to release more vintage collections next year.
