The former chief executive officer of the Adidas Group, Herbert Hainer, will replace Uli Hoeness as chairman of the supervisory board of the FC Bayern Munich, the company controlling the homonymous football club, according to the business monthly Manager Magazin. Hainer, a passionate supporter of the team, in which Adidas bought a stake of 8.33 percent during his tenure at the sports company, is currently the deputy chairman of its supervisory board. He will probably succeed Hoeness also as the president of the club.
