The former Finnish Sports Retail and Wholesale Association (UVT), which has about 30 member companies, is being terminated at the end of this year. As previously reported, its members will be integrated into the Fashion and Sports Commerce Association, which originally started as a group of retailers. It held its first Ispo Academy for the Finnish market earlier this month. The association's chief executive is Velimatti Kankaanpää. UVT has sold its digital platform,, to a publishing company, Akvamariini, that will use it as a Finnish sports trade magazine. Hanna-Liisa Erkheikki, who ran UVT on an interim basis, will continue working on certain projects within the association and with the magazine.
