The German-based company Schanner has taken on the distribution of Head skates for Germany, Austria and Italy. In charge of sales is Marc Meier, who is both owner and managing director of Schanner, a company specializing in ice hockey. It distributes Bauer in the same countries and will sell ice skates, inline skates, scooters and helmets under the Head brand. Sport-Fachhandel, the German trade publication, reports that Schanner's 41 employees managed to generate sales of €16 million last year.
