The Golf Foundation, the U.K.-based charity for school students, has set in motion the formal selection process for a new chief executive to take the place of Mike Round, who left at the end of August after 14 years to take up a key position with the Ladies European Tour. Founded by Sir Henry Cotton and others in 1952, the Golf Foundation raises funds for several initiatives including the HSBC Golf Roots program to stimulate golf participation among the youth from different backgrounds.
