The Helly Hansen Group’s division for survival and personal protection suits is being sold to Montagu, a private equity firm, and to Helly Hansen Pro’s management team. The business will be renamed Hansen Protection. Helly Hansen Pro has been supplying mainly offshore and shipping markets. It is now planning to expand out of Norway into nearby markets and other product categories.
