The investment firm J.H. Whitney has bought the Igloo brand from West Capital Partners, owner of Igloo for 10 years. Joining the company’s president and chief executive, Jim Morley, on the board will be Gary Kiedaisch, the former CEO of Coleman who is an investor in the deal with Whitney. He will be chairman. Whitney plans to keep Igloo’s focus on its core business of coolers, where it has about twice the market share of Coleman, but could look at acquisitions in the future.
