The Lacoste family has set up a René Lacoste Foundation in honor of the late French tennis champion who founded the company. Its aim is to aid youngsters in France and abroad to find their route in life through sport, discovering values such as team spirit, motivation, self-achievement, excellence and competition while respecting one’s enemies. One of the foundation’s first acts will be a partnership with the association set up by Yannick Noah ten years ago to help disadvantaged French children to play tennis.
