The Leclercq family, which founded Décathlon and owns a significant stake in its parent company, Oxylane, has injected an unspecified amount into a French investment fund that helps innovative companies to start up and grow. A manager of the fund, called L'Accélérateur, said the new equity will allow it to support present and new projects for the next few years, especially in the area of digital technologies. None of the 18 projects funded since it began to invest one year ago is in the sports business.
