The Mountain Boot Company has signed a new distribution contract with Ski Trab for the British market. The Italian supplier of free-ride and ski touring equipment joins a list of brands that include Contour, Deuter, Grivel and Scarpa. The most other recent contract was with Outdoor Research one year ago. The company boosted its staff last year as its turnover jumped by more than 40 percent to £8.6 million (€9.6m-$12.9m) last year for a variety of reasons (more in The Outdoor Industry Compass).
