The net sales of the Björn Borg group fell by 3 percent to 155.2 million Swedish kronor (€15.2m-$22.7m) for the period ended Sept. 30. Brand sales rose by 1 percent to SEK 566 million (€55.6m-$82.9m). Net income fell by 20 percent to SEK 30.1 million (€3.0m-$4.4m). The company said it was working intensely to improve and strengthen its product development and distribution. For the nine months ended Sept. 30, group sales rose by 6 percent to SEK 417.7 million (€41.0m-$61.2m) and brand sales went up by 4 percent to SEK 1,554 million (€152.5m-$227.7m). Operating income declined by 9.3 percent to SEK 93.2 million (€9.1m-$13.7m).
