The new EcoShape guide, commissioned by EuroSIMA Cluster, helps professionals and amateurs build or develop shaping workshops that respect health, safety and the environment. EuroSIMA, the boardsports industry group, figures that there are 400 professional shapers in Europe and several thousand non-professionals. The new EcoShape guide uses innovative tools to evaluate working conditions and software to help prevent professional risk. InovEco, the Regional Agency for the Improvement of Working Conditions of Aquitaine and Ergonomie Conseil Applications designed and wrote the guide. Currently it is available only in French, but an English version is planned soon.
