The Norwegian sports retail market is changing rapidly, as illustrated by Gresvig's momentum decision to drop the G-Sport and G-Max banners, concentrating on Intersport (see the story in this issue). Mobo Sportsholding, the owner of the high-end Anton Sport chain, is buying Milsluker'n, an Oslo-based retailer specializing in skiing, cycling and kayaks. The parties expect a final purchase agreement to be signed in late September. Milsluker'n has a store at Ullevål Stadium, in Oslo, and also operates an e-commerce business. According to Sportsbransjen, the goal is to own three of the best concepts in the industry: the sporting goods retailer Anton Sport, the outdoor store Sportsnett and now Milsluker'n. Milsluker'n is one of Norway's highest selling stores in the Nordic skiing segment, with sales of more than 60 million Norwegian kroner (€6.0m-$6.6m) in 2018.
