The organizers of Sport-Achat, the French trade show that took place in Lyon for two days on Sept. 14-15, say that 1,527 visitors came to the event, up by 14.8 percent over last year’s edition. The increase is all the more noteworthy considering that last year’s edition was held over three days. Exhibitors, who were presenting the spring/summer 2010 collections of 300 brands, took extra care to prepare for the event, by enlarging their mailing lists and arranging appointments with clients.
