The Quiksilver group has appointed Richard Shields as chief financial officer, starting from May 11. He previously held the same position at Oakley, after stints at companies ranging from Southwest Water Company to Day Software Corporation, Winfire Corporation and Frame-N-Lens Optical. He replaces Joe Scirocco, who held the job since 2007 and announced in January that he would be leaving the company.
