The supervisory board of Adidas AG has extended the mandates of two members of the executive board, Glenn Bennett and Robin Stalker, for a further three years until March 2018. Bennett, a U.S. citizen who is in charge of global operations, has been a board member since 1997. Stalker, who comes from New Zealand, is the chief financial officer of the group and has been a board member since 2001. On the executive board, Bennett and Stalker join Herbert Hainer, whose mandate as chief executive was extended a few weeks ago for two more years until March 2017, and two other recently appointed members, Ronald Auschel and Eric Liedke. Separately, Chris Grancio, head of global basketball sports marketing, has been placed in charge of the basketball segment following the appointment of Lawrence Norman, former vice president of Adidas Global Basketball, as managing director of Adidas South Europe, which we reported in the previous issue. In that position, Norman was also responsible for Adidas' partnership with the National Basketball Association (NBA).
