The Tecnica Group is placing a new general manager at the head of its operations in France. From Oct. 1, Lucien Hateville will assume the position as general manager for Tecnica France, succeeding Michel Rayot, who will continue to work for Tecnica France as a consultant The group is also restructuring the distribution of Blizzard, Tecnica and Nordica in Germany and Austria. Sales of Blizzard and Tecnica products in the two countries will be led by a new 43-year-old general manager and sales director, Rainer Vetter, who will also take care of the German market directly. For the Austrian market, he will be assisted by Thomas Rakuscha, who will continue to be in charge international marketing for the group. Sales of the Nordica brand in Austria and Germany will be handled by Herbert Riepl, who reports to Vetter.
