There is a new online-based information platform for the Swiss bicycle market. The B2B publication is called cyclinfo.ch and is run by well-known people in the market. The editor is Urs Rosenbaum, an expert in the Swiss bike trade who used to run his own bike magazine and served as the Swiss stringer for the two important German publications velobiz.de and SAZbike. Rosenbaum also contributed to SGI Europe’s market report on Switzerland, which came out last spring. The interesting point about cyclinfo.ch is that it is organized as a cooperative under Swiss law. This allows all market players or private persons who are interested in business news on the Swiss bicycle market to become shareholders of the new enterprise. Shares are offered at a price ranging between 600 and 3,000 Swiss francs (€460 to €2,300-$610 to $3,060).
