Topher Gaylord, a 15- year veteran of VF Corporation and most recently the group’s president for international outdoor and action sports as well as managing director of The North Face EMEA, is about to go back to the USA. Gaylord, who has been appointed president of Seven for All Mankind, one of VF’s denim brands, will be replaced by Karl-Heinz Salzburger, VF’s president for EMEA and Asia, on an interim basis. In Spain, The North Face has appointed Oscar Bel Amaya to be the new country manager. Bel Amaya has replaced, effective Sept. 1, Pierre Lion, who accepted a new challenge outside the outdoor industry (more in THE OUTDOOR INDUSTRY COMPASS.)
