TJ Adeshola, head of global content partnerships at Twitter, has announced that he is leaving the social media company after more than a decade. Adeshola was in charge of establishing relationships between Twitter and sports leagues and brands. He joined Twitter as a senior account manager in August 2012 before being appointed sports partner manager in September 2014 and then head of global content partnerships last year. Prior to joining Twitter, he worked in sales and marketing for ESPN.

Ever since Elon Musk completed the acquisition of the American social company in October 2022, Twitter’s workforce has dropped from nearly 8,000 to 1,500, and the future direction the company is heading in remains unclear, as we also discussed in a previous article. Sarah Rosen, who was in charge of U.S. content partnerships at Twitter, left the company in November. Adeshola’s decision, however, seems to have more to do with a career move than anything else, Sports Business Journal (SBJ) has reported.
