Two executives will share the management of Burton Europe in Innsbruck upon the retirement next Jan. 31 of Hermann Kapferer, general manager and senior vice president, after more than 30 years with the group. His responsibilities will be divided between Oliver Zaletel and Franck Waterlot. Zeletel, who is currently vice president of shared services for Burton Europe, will also take care of human resources, finance and operations. Waterlot, who is vice president of sales, will also handle product. They will both report to John Lacy, president of Burton Snowboards in the U.S. Kapferer, who joined the company in 1985, will remain an adviser until his official retirement next July, when he will turn 65.
