Two significant management changes have taken place at Intersport Österreich. Christian Vesely, a 44-year-old former manager of Don Gil who has been running Springfield’s new operations in Austria, is now in charge of sales for the Austrian cooperative, replacing one of its retail members, Georg Winkler. Furthermore, Franz Koll, 42, takes over as head buyer for sports equipment, replacing the retiring Ernst Kofler. He was most recently in charge of Silhouette Intenational’s Adidas Eyewear license on a global basis.
