Two Spanish sports-related consumer shows have been cancelled due to the pull-out of many exhibitors in view of the general economic situation in the country. One is Cosmofitness, which was going to be run in Barcelona on Oct. 3-5. Another one is Nivalia Naturiva, the snow and outdoor fair which was due to be held in Barcelona on Nov. 21-23. On the other hand, Barcelona is still expected to host a Global Sports Forum next Feb. 25-27. The government of the region of Aragon has agreed to support the next session of Planetfutbol, the Spanish consumer-oriented football show; which will be held for the first time in Zaragoza next March 16-19. Another Spanish fair, the Fitness show, which is usually held in Madrid in March, will take place there next Feb. 26-29.
