UEFA has announced the list of candidatures for the positions of president and executive committee members to be elected at the 47th ordinary UEFA Congress in Lisbon on April 5, 2023. Aleksander Čeferin (Slovenia) is standing for re-election for a four-year term as UEFA president. The sole candidate for one female member position on the executive committee (for a four-year term) is Laura McAllister (Wales). The candidates for seven member positions on the executive committee (for a four-year term) are: Jesper Møller Christensen (Denmark), who is standing for re-election; Philippe Diallo (France); Armand Duka (Albania), who is standing for re-election; Petr Fousek (Czechia); Lise Klaveness (Norway); Levan Kobiashvili (Georgia); Andrii Pavelko (Ukraine) who is standing for re-election; Rod Petrie (Scotland); Hugo Quaderer (Liechtenstein); Luis Rubiales (Spain), who is standing for re-election; and Björn Vassallo (Malta). Finally, the candidate for one member position on the UEFA executive committee for a two-year term is Hans-Joachim Watzke (Germany). All candidates successfully passed an eligibility check carried out by the electoral committee.
