Uhlsport has announced that Melanie Steinhilber has been promoted to executive director for marketing/sponsorship and product management, effective March 1. She will become part of a management team of three, together with Dominik Solleder, in charge of national/international sales, and Peter Kuhl, manager for finance, purchasing, product development and logistics. She succeeds Karsten Dormann, the company's managing director, who will retire from active management at Uhlsport and begin working in a supervisory role for other businesses. As a shareholder, however, Karsten Dormann will continue to follow Uhlsport's activities closely. Melanie Steinhilber has been with Uhlsport since 2005.
