Umbro has received an outpouring of orders for the shirts of the Chapecoense club after an air crash killed nearly the whole team in early December. Only three players survived the crash outside Medellin, which occurred on the eve of their Copa Sudamericana final against Atletico Nacional. Umbro representatives met with the management of the Brazilian football club to discuss ramping up production. The UK-based sports brand said it was looking for ways to meet the overwhelming demand for Chapecoense shirts.
