Umbro has sealed an equipment partnership with Real Murcia FC, a Spanish football club currently in the Segunda División B. The partnership was agreed for three years starting from the 17/18 football season. The club said it was hoping that the partnership with the English football brand would mark its return to the top level of Spanish football, where it has been for 18 seasons in the Primera División and 53 seasons in the Segunda División. The club is currently outfitted by Hummel, the Danish brand. Umbro has already partnered with two other major Spanish football clubs, RCF Mallorca and Girona CF, which recently moved up to the Primera División.
