Sales grew strongly in all major categories, with an 8 percent increase in average selling prices. Footwear rose by only 29 percent to $20.1 million, but the management is restating its objective to become the #1 brand in cleated shoes. The company is banking on single-brand stores to pull its future growth. The marketing spend amounted to 13.5 percent in the latest quarter, up from 13.2 percent a year ago, and it is expected to increase in the present quarter.
