Under Armour is stepping up investments in European rugby through a kit sponsorship deal with the Wasps. As the English club's official technical apparel partner, Under Armour gets to supply match day and training gear, with new outfits to be presented this summer. It has also obtained commercial rights and in-stadium signage at the team's home ground, the Ricoh Arena in Coventry. Wasps is a rugby union team with a distinguished track record, currently ranking sixth in the Aviva Premiership, the top professional Rugby Union division in England. Wasps is the first club in this division to secure a deal with Under Armour. The U.S. brand is also the technical partner to the Welsh Rugby Union and Clermont Auvergne – along with assets in other sports such as the Tottenham Hotspur football cub, the Scottish tennis player Andy Murray and the golfer Jordan Spieth. Wasps previously had a four-year kit deal with Kukri Sports.
