Under Armour is releasing the Futr x Elite, described by the brand as “the pinnacle footwear model” within its basketball portfolio and a shoe that “will redefine the category.” FUTR stands for “For Us To Rise,” to call together a community of basketball athletes striving for greatness on the court. The Futr x Elite combines Under Armour’s UA Flow technology, which removes the traditional rubber outsole for a lightweight and responsive underfoot feel, with a futuristic style, making it suitable on the court for performance and off the court in everyday life.

In addition to the award-winning UA Flow technology, the new Futr x Elite also features an IntelliKnit upper, offering breathability and dynamic compression for 360-degree comfort, claims the brand. The IntelliKnit upper is complemented by a lateral TPU wing and internal 3D-molded heel counter.

The Futr x Elite “Instant Highlight” version was released on underarmour.com and in select UA Brand Houses on Feb. 2. Six additional colorways will be released from now through the conclusion of this year’s professional season. UA basketball athletes will hit the court in the Futr x Elite throughout 2024, said the brand.
