Under Armour made a net income of $16,875,000, up by 42 percent, during the 4th quarter ended on Dec. 31, 2007, with sales rising by 29 percent to $174,838,000. Sales of men’s apparel increased by 29 percent to $105.7 million, women’s apparel rose by 27 percent $33.2 million, youth apparel went up by 41 percent to $13.8 million and accessories soared by 165 percent to $9.0 million. Revenues from licensing climbed 35 percent to $6.3 million. However, sales of footwear decreased by 27 percent to $6.8 million. Over the full year 2007, net income grew by 34.8 percent to $52,558,000 while sales increased by 40.8 percent to $606,561,000. Looking ahead, the American company is forecasting that its annual net revenues will go up by 26-28 percent to $765-775 million, and that income from operations will increase at the same pace to reach $108.5-110.5 million. The company has allocated one million pairs for its launch this year for a line of performance training footwear.
