United Sports Brands (USB) is shifting to a direct distribution mode in Spain, establishing a network of sales agents throughout the country for three of its brands: McDavid, which stands for sports medicine, protective gear and apparel; Shock Doctor, which specializes in mouthguards; and Nathan, which offers running accessories. USB's former distributor in Spain, Ortesis, will continue to handle distribution specifically for sports-medicine products. USB already uses the same system for its other European operations in Germany, France, Finland, Austria, Switzerland and the Benelux countries. The agents report to Sebastian Baur, the company's European sales manager, who works at the company's European headquarters in Belgium. Its customer support department will now add a service in Spanish. USB already has a warehouse of 4,500 square meters for the European market. The company is also launching a B2B website with real-time inventory checks and full order histories for its retail clients all over Europe.
