Urban Styles, a distributor based in Cologne that belongs to Snipes, a subsidiary of the Deichmann Group, took over the distribution of the new premium and fashion-oriented Kappa Authentic product range in Germany in May, signing a selective distribution partnership with Kappa Germany. The range will only be sold to fashion retailers. Kappa Germany remains responsible for the distribution of Kappa Footwear and Kappa Sport. Urban Styles also started to distribute Fila products in January in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Dosenbach Ochsner, which is also part of the Deichmann group, is the licensee of the Fila brand in Europe. Since last January, Urban Styles is also selling Helly Hansen in Germany, Austria and Switzerland as well as the Didriksons brand in Switzerland.
