Urs Maron has left his post as marketing and sales director at Atomic to become general manager, marketing and sales at Therm-ic, an Austrian company that specializes in high-tech battery-operated heating systems for ski boots and other applications. He will share the management of the company with its founder, David Macher. Maron served in management positions for nine years at Intersport International before going to Amer Group. August Stangl, another ski industry veteran who has been with Thermi-ic for a long time, has been named to the newly-created position of business director for winter sports.
