Uwe Schäfer, 51, is coming back to K-Swiss to act as country sales manager for Germany and Austria, after working for four years at the head of MBT's new German sales subsidiary. Schäfer will run all the sales activities of K-Swiss following the departure of Jan-Joss Marggraf, who was handling key accounts, and Jens Bolms, who was in charge of the brand's new line of running shoes. Before joining MBT, Schäfer was sales manager of K-Swiss for the same markets. Prior to that he worked for Reebok. At MBT, meanwhile, a former Nike manager, Guido Heck, is taking over Schäfer's responsibilities. Since the middle of 2010 he has acted as MBT's head of international sales.
