VauDe has announced its official cooperation with the German National Association for Forest and Nature Kindergartens, a national association that represents 700 such institutions in the country. These forest-embedded daycare centers are meant to give youngsters a breath of fresh air while their parents or guardians are away. According to VauDe, there are about 18,000 children enrolled in the schools in the woods, and the number is growing. VauDe has announced the launch of a “Forest Kindergarten Collection” to clothe these kids. Vaude opened some years back its own forest kindergarten near its headquarters at Tettnang.
