Vaude has made another step toward making a dream come true – to become Europe's most eco-friendly company in the industry. Vaude says that its headquarters near Lake Constance – including the production facilities that it runs there – are now fully “climate-neutral.” This means that the company has reduced its CO2 emissions significantly and pays a compensation for the remaining emissions under guidance from Myclimate, a non-profit organization. This covers all the CO2 emissions from the administration, the production, the warehouse, and even the in-house kindergarten, but not yet the emissions caused by the employees when they drive to work.
