VF Corp. has struck a strategic partnership with FibeRio Technology Corporation for the joint development of proprietary, high-performance nanofiber materials for the group's apparel, footwear and jeanswear. VF notes that FibeRio's Forcespinning technology has the unique advantage of producing advanced nanofiber textiles in high volumes, using a melt spinning process that requires much lower amounts of solvents than traditional processes such as electrospinning.
