VF Corporation's Licensed Sports Group has appointed Mark Underwood as the new managing director for Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA). He replaces Gary Sheppherd, who left the business earlier this year for health reasons. Underwood, who will be based at the company's European headquarters in London, joins from Boxfresh, where he was sales director for five years. He was previously sales manager for Northern Europe at Fred Perry for seven years. Part of the VF Corporation, VF Licensed Sports Group markets branded apparel under agreements with licensors such as the National Football League (NFL), Major League Baseball (MLB), Major League Baseball Players Association (MLBPA), Harley-Davidson, the National Hockey League (NHL), the National Basketball Association (NBA), the Collegiate Licensing Council (CLC) and leading colleges. Under the Majestic Athletic brand, the division is the official on-field uniform supplier of Major League Baseball (MLB).
