Vissla and D'Blanc are the names of two of the three new California-based surf brands that will be launched next year by Paul Naude, a former director of Billabong's operations in the Americas who failed in a bid to take over the company together with associates earlier this year. Vissla will be a brand of men's swimwear, clothing and footwear. D'Blanc will focus on eyewear and other accessories. A third brand yet to be announced will cover the children's market, starting in 2015. According to reports, the products will be made in Italy. Naude had been with Billabong since 1998.
