Vista Outdoor has recruited Kelly T. Grindle, a senior executive of Johnson Outdoors, to act as president of its outdoor products segment, comprising Camelbak and Jimmy Sykes as well as Bushnell. He will take up his new functions on Jan. 4, reporting directly to Mark De Young, chairman and chief executive of Vista Outdoor. Grindle has been working for Johnson for 16 years, most recently as senior group vice president in charge of marine electronics, watercraft and diving.
