We have already reported about the resignation of Greg Hopkins as chief executive of Cleveland Golf/Srixon. His designated successor is Hideki Sano, who will take up the post in California next Jan. 1.  At the same time, Sano will continue in his role as executive director of Dunlop Sports, responsible for global R&D, production, purchasing and the global supply chain. He will also act as general manager of Dunlop Sports in North America. Dunlop Sports is the subsidiary of Sumitomo Rubber that controls Cleveland and Srixon, formerly called SRI Sports. It also markets Dunlop balls. Sano joined Sumitomo in 1977 and was placed in charge of SRI Sports' production engineering in 2004.
