We have yet to mention the appointment of Martin Margielka as the new marketing director of Burton Europe, responsible for Burton Snowboards and its Anon brand. He is replacing Marian Kaeding. Margielka founded the magazine Streetwear Today and opened the iconic RAPX store in Bochum, Germany, at the age of 17. He co-founded a marketing and PR agency called Magwick and participated in numerous marketing initiatives for the Bread & Butter fair, Ispo, Analog, Levi's, Nike SB and New Balance. Based at Burton Europe's office in Innsbruck, he reports to Hermann Kapferer, vice president and general manager of Burton Europe, and Anne-Marie Dacyshyn, global marketing manager of the company.
