We hear that Dierk Feyerabend has departed from the helm of Polar's German subsidiary. The 55-year-old served the company for 22 years. In fact, as managing director since 1991, he built up the first subsidiary of the marketer of sports electronics outside Finland. It could even be said that Feyerabend introduced a completely new product category to the German sports market, at a time when topics such as heart rate measuring and management were basically unknown in the country's sports community.
