Wiggle has completed the relocation of its distribution center from Portsmouth to Wolverhampton. The new 30,000-square-meter distribution site is three times the size of the previous facility and is strategically situated three kilometers from the M6 and nine kilometers from the M5, two important motorways in the U.K. It took the firm two years to complete the 240-kilometers move from its previous base. Wiggle began almost a century ago as Butlers Cycles, a small independent bike shop in Portsmouth. The company now serves around one million customers across 70 countries. Wiggle experienced a 15-20 percent annual volume growth over the last three to four years. The investment in the new distribution site is meant to support continuing growth in the future, as the company also intends to focus on expanding the brand internationally.
