Wilson, a division of Amer Sports, has announced a partnership with Autism Speaks, an autism advocacy organization with headquarters in New York, for the launch a limited-edition collection of baseball equipment. Under the new partnership, Wilson will develop a “Love the Moment” collection of Wilson and Louisville Slugger baseball products, to raise awareness of autism as well as fund Autism Speaks resources and programs. The products will carry special “Love the Moment” tags, indicating the company's support of the autism community and Autism Speaks. Autism or autism spectrum disorder (ASD) refers to a broad range of conditions characterized by difficulties with social skills, speech, repetitive behaviors and non-verbal communication.
